This year STC was seriously a good one. I spent my weekend well with my Area 6 STC mates ! This year's STC grouping was bigger as there are only 6 groups.This arrangement was good because we have more people in one group. I was in group 2 this year and my group mates were SIMPLY AWESOME !
This years camp is different from last year ATC as we are here as a CL. We have to be responsible , and take my initiative. This year's STC is filled with exciting activities too , such as Jetty Jump , Immediate Rope Challenge and land exhibition. This activities gave me a really good experience.
I was one of the song leader this year and I had a lot of fun being hyper and also making everyone in Are 6 all hype up and ready for the campfire. The campfire was memorable and fun and it went quite smoothly.
This is our last camp as one Area 6 and I will really miss my Are 6 STC mates a lot. This bond between us has become closer and its hard to say goodbye. I actually didn't expect that our happy moments only lasted for 3 days. I believe that this 3 days experience , friendship that we made will become memories of our NPCC life that will be etched in my heart and my squad mates heart as well as the Area 6 STC mates!

AREA 6 ATC / STC 2012
It was my first time in ATC. I felt that it fun. I spent my weekend with my squad mates in pulau ubin NPCC campsite. It was a 3 days 2 night camp.We were separated into 6 groups. Although I'm not the same group as my squad mates, but I manage to make new friends. They were all from different schools in Area 6.
I cant adapt to the environment in the first day and night , as we were camping outside and we need to pitch our own tent to sleep in. The first day, we only need to pitch our own tent and after we are done with it, we had our dinner. We need to cook our own food , which is whatever we want in the ration pack that everyone is given. After our dinner , we had some night activities. Which is for us to bond together with our group mates. The games are fun and I really enjoyed it.
The second day of the camp is the most fun ! We had activity cycle and campfire ! The activity cycle which includes Amazing race, Kayaking and Low rope elements. Our group went for Kayaking first. I enjoyed kayaking most ! As it was really fun and exciting, although i capsized with my buddy. But it was fun. After that , we had our Amazing race and Low rope elements. After all our activities, we had our bath, we had a song session. This is to prepare us for the campfire with the Secondary 3's at the STC campsite later on !
I was really enthusiastic ! It was really fun ! But after a few hours , the campfire has ended. And we need to head back to our ATC campsite. The next day, which is the last day of ATC. We had area cleaning. We helped each other to take out their tents, we washed the toilets. And after that , we had our closing ceremony for the camp. Next year , my squad mates and I would be participating in STC.
