The ncos went for a land division visit on 28th nov.We assembled at the general office at 3 in our full uniform.We were visiting the Ang Mo Kio Police Division HQ, which is also known as 'F' division.It was previously located in Paya Lebar. In 1987, 'F' Division migrated to its present location to better meet its operational needs and to locate itself more strategically to better serve the public.Their mission is to uphold the law, maintain order, and keep the peace within 'F' Division. We will protect life and property, prevent crime and disorder, detect and apprehend offenders and preserve a sense of security within the jurisdiction of 'F' Division in particular and Singapore in general.Their vision is to be the leading Police Division and a role model for other police divisions to emulate. Our vibrant and creative officers will strive for nothing less than excellence in our endeavor to fulfill our promise to serve our community.We will be renowned for our dedication and perseverance to be a key contributor to our country's progress and a defender of justice in Singapore.It serves a residential population of over 1 million residents and among the 6 police land divisions, 'F' Division covers the second largest land area.It commands a total of 7 Neighbourhood Police Centres (NPCs) and 10 Neighbourhood Police Posts (NPPs).When we arrived there,they brought us to a lecture hall.The Payar Lebar Methodist Girls School, secondary 3 caderts also joined us.They told us more about crime prevention and showed us videos on outrage of modesty, theft, etc..They also showed us the weapons that the police there carry and they demostrated on how to use them.
