Objectives: Students will be able to locate the historical and natural heritage sites found in Singapore and to have a better understanding of the history and development of Sembawang.
Details of Project: 1) Learning journey – Amazing Race on 16 Nov 2007 During the amazing race, you will take photographs of the various heritage site you visited and to take short notes about the site
2) Reflections of Sembawang (Travel Journal) You have to do intensive research about the history and development of Sembawang and they will write a travel journal about the sites. You would describe about their trip there and at the same time promote the interesting sites at Sembawang to potential tourists visiting Singapore.
You can represent your travel journal in this blog (just create a new post), powerpoint slides, video clips (if you have), poster, or any other interesting format you want. You should include a lot of photographs in your journals.
Date of submission: 15 December 2007
Students are to work in groups of threes.
Attainment of the National Heritage Badge is based on the completion of both the amazing race and the travel journal.
